Govt. of India has approved LPG connection portability through which you can choose a distributor of your choice. This will be implemented in 480 districts of the country.

LPG connection portability scheme was launched as a pilot project by the Oil Marketing Companies (OMC’s) in October, 2013. Now, it has been made full-fledged. There will be a cluster of distributors available for the consumers to choose from. Customers can opt out of the current distributor if the service is not appropriate or they can choose one which is nearer to them. The portability details are available in the respective OMC websites.
