Q: How to keep a share more than a day in online trading?

Answer: Shares are kept in a demat account. When you open a trading account, it is a pre requisite to also open a demat account. A demat account is like a bank account for shares (instead of cash) So, if you have bought a share today and don’t sell it the same day, it gets transferred to your demat account in 2 days time, ie. once the seller has moved that share from his account to yours.
