Oil marketing companies have put another nail in the coffin of the common man. They have decided to hike the cooking gas or non subsidized LPG cylinder by Rs. 220 per cylinder. This is the third hike in a span of 1 month.
As known already, 9 cylinders per year are allowed with subsidy and cylinders taken after that will be charged without subsidy. Oil firms currently lose Rs. 762.70 per cylinder on the sale of subsidized LPG after global price rise. Subsidized cylinders will cost the same.
