way to enter in the taxyogi

choose  income from rent and loan repayment under the head  housing income

    if house is self occoupied

you  can claim  interest paid/payable as deduction  under section 24 (b) of  income tax act  to a maximum of  RS.1,50,000

    if house is letout

you can claim the total  interst paid/payable as deduction with out any limit  u/s 24(b) of income tax act.

note : interest on pre-construction period is allowed as deduction in FIVE equall annual instalments

You can post your house property income by selecting 'income from single property' or 'income from multiple property' in the Welcome page after logging into taxes account.
