I'm able to contradicts in the actual refund amount and the details displayed UNDER 'CURRENT TAX STATUS'. Please find the details below ad clarify them. Actual tax payable as per form 16 = Rs.8268 Amount displayed on the screen = Rs. 8631 Total tax deducted at source=9017 Tax Credits=9017 Actual Tax payable/(Refundable) = Rs. 749 Refund amount displayed on the screen = Rs.390

Investmentyogi's tax calculation seems to be based on tax rates of 2010-11 and hence wrong.

Have you selected 'With Form 16' or 'Do not have Form 16'? The amount may vary when you enter details by opting 'Do not have Form 16'.

Also, if the tax payable is less than the TDS paid, then you would be eligible for refund.
