    Re: Investment for Child

I have planned out my savings strategy for my kid and I'm going with IRA and strictly other options of mutual funds. I am putting one hundred-five hundred in this account every month for around 20 years. That way when my son hits his college days I can tell him to take his pick of college. The tricky thing about saving for something as big as college though is the inflation over time. Does anybody know how you could plan ahead of the inflation or add that into a personal financial plan that might come with tuition or possibly anything else for that matter?

I would suggest you take up the child investment plan from Future Generali. This insurance takes care of the educational needs of your child. They have 2 plans -

    • Future Child benefit plan option at 21
    • Future Child benefit plan option at 23

There are additional benefits like tax benefits on premiums paid; large sum assured discount and many more when you avail anyone of the child plan. Have a look at their website for more details.

    Hi Krishna,

The best kind of investment for your child would be to save for his higher education as it plays a major factor in developing a career. I would suggest you to look into Bharti AXA Life's child insurance plans as it secures the future expenses of your child in case you are not around, but can also look after the education expenses with regular money back. You can go for any of the two plans that Bharti AXA Life offers

    • Bharti AXA Life Power Kid Insurance Plan
    • Bharti AXA Life Future Champs

You can make these plan all the more robust with additional riders that can be availed with these plan like waiver of premium

     Hi Krishna,

I do not know familiar thinga about investment. But my suggestion for you is take some insurance policy in your son name. And make your investment in that policy and i think you can get some huge amount after 20 years.

    Re: Investment for Child

There are many child plans available in market from different insurance providers. You can go for the one that matches your requirements. As per my personal experience I would like to suggest the policy that I have taken for my kid from Birla Sun Life child plans i.e. Classic Child Plan. It gives joint life cover to me and my child along with being a good investment option. There are 2 other child plans that they offer. You can go with the one which matches your requirements for your kid.
