How do I select the right property? 

1. Financial criteria
   1. Can you afford to pay for the property?
   2. Can you afford to pay for maintenance and community fees on a regular basis?
2. Property criteria
   1. Are the right title / deed documents available to prove the seller has the right to sell the property?
   2. Is the builder known for good quality construction?
   3. Is the property in good condition (internal and external)?
3. Environmental criteria
   1. Are you comfortable with the neighbors?
   2. Is parking space readily available?
   3. Does the property have adequate security?
   4. Is there a market / shopping nearby?
   5. Are there sources of entertainment readily available nearby?
   6. Is the property too close to heavy traffic? Commercial areas? Manufacturing facilities, or other sources of pollution?
4. Transportation criteria
   1. Is public transportation (bus, train, scooter, taxi, ...) available nearby?
   2. Is conveyance to children's schools available?
   3. Is the commute time to work within your limits?
